Dale Carman, the Executive Creative Director worked with William Kaufman and Chad Law on the prequel. “Working with the theatrical team for this VR experience was exciting,” said Dale Carman. “We were able to pull off something that just about everyone talks about, but rarely delivers. We believe 360º movies can deliver a whole new level of excitement and thrills and look forward to more productions like this.”
The Groove Jones team leverage their VR platform “Groove Tech” to expedite the production process. “We were able to use ‘Groove Tech’ in order to rapidly deploy the film and the special content on both mobile and PC VR platforms,” said Dale Carman. “Our goal is to hit every headset with minimum overhead to our production pipeline. We were able to do this in weeks instead of months.”
