Lampix has been announced as an AR/VR category winner during the SXSW Accelerator Pitch Event. The event took place in Texas, at SXSW Start-up Village, during the last weekend. In the event have taken part 50 tech-companies, half of them on 11 of March, and the rest on March 12.

Lampix, shaped like a usual lamp, is an AR device. The facility enables its users to collaborate with various documents or other objects with no glasses, eyewears or other devices. The AR facility pitches an AR interfaces on material surfaces.

Lampix customers are given a freedom to scan various documents, do text copies, and put them within the device’s text editor. Apart from AR features, the facility is supplied with common lamp details, such as lights via light emitting diodes. The rest details are video and HD camera, projector, and API, with enables developers to create various apps of their own.

As the producer of the event has noticed, each winner features its most inspiring innovation that the startup has ever developed.

Reportedly, the finalists of the competition have been chosen by creativity, capabilities, potential, teamed work and kindness. In AR-VR category have been included final competitors such as VR company Fibrum, Teleporter VR, a live-event platform, 3dRudder, and Holojam.
